HILLTOPPERS MC GRAND PRIX

The Annual Hilltoppers MC Grand Prix is back in 29 Palms! Established in 1945 in the City of Long Beach, the Hilltoppers Motorcycle Club has been racing, riding, and having a good time for over 60 years. Their annual Grand Prix in 29 Palms takes place the first weekend of April every year. This Grand Prix is an AMA-sanctioned event and the jewel of the GPR Big Six Grand Prix Series. The race attracts over 1,200 entrants and over 5,000 spectators every year. This year’s Grand Prix will take place from April 2 through April 3 at the 29 Palms Motorsports Complex.
SPRING ART DAZE

Spring has sprung, and that means Spring Art Daze at Art-O-Motive Gallery is back! Join one of the most unique art galleries in 29 Palms as they invite local artists, vendors, musicians, and more to spend a day in the desert sun celebrating art. Be sure to stop by, explore the gallery, have a great time, and discover the joy our local artists bring to the 29 Palms community. The Twentynine Palms Farmer’s Market is the place to be every Saturday morning for fresh produce, live music, and local arts & crafts. Meet up with friends and family and do your shopping too! Meet your local farmers and buy fresh fruits and vegetables that come straight from the farm to your shopping bag. MIXING COLOR FOR NON-ARTISTS… & ARTISTS TOO!

Have you wondered how to mix paint? How to talk about color? What’s the difference between a hue, a shade, and a tint? All will be explained! We will have fun painting color swatches. This class is open to teens, adults, artists, and non-artists. All materials provided. Bring a snack or sack lunch if desired. Class size is limited to 15, so register early! LOCATION: Joshua Tree National Park
The 5th Annual Joshua Tree 55 is here! The scenic bike ride through Joshua Tree National Park and the City of Twentynine Palms takes place on Saturday, April 30th. The ride will begin at Knott’s Sky Park in Twentynine Palms, continuing through JTNP and back for a total of 55 miles traveled with SAG stops. Enjoy scenic views of Skull Rock, Cap Rock, and so many more gorgeous sights. The event will also include raffle prizes and swag bags. The ride starts promptly at 6:00 a.m., with rider check-in from 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 a.m.The Joshua Tree 55 registration fee includes a t-shirt, entrance into the National Park (for registered riders only), and a boxed lunch. Online enrollment ends at 6:00 p.m. Friday, April 8th. You may register on-site if space is still available. For more information, contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (760) 367-7562.
