Apricity Show Open Now Through April 1st at 29 Palms Visitor Center & Gallery

“Apricity: The Warmth of Sun in Winter” opened Saturday, Jan. 8, at the 29 Palms Visitor Center and Gallery. Opening day for the winter art show was celebrated with light hospitality in the visitor center, and will continue to be available to the public, free of charge, through April 1st.

The show theme, “Apricity,” reflects winter in our Mojave Desert region and is expressed in painting, photography, mixed media, and 3-dimensional artwork by a variety of desert artists.

The Art in Public Places group exhibition is presented by the Public Arts Advisory Committee (PAAC) of the City of Twentynine Palms.

The 29 Palms Visitor Center and Gallery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 73484 29 Palms Hwy at the corner of Desert Queen Avenue in downtown Twentynine Palms.

Due to the ongoing Covid situation, face masks are required in the visitor center and social distancing is requested for the safety of artists, staff, and visitors.

For more information or directions, contact the visitor center at (760)358-6324.
