JOSHUA TREE RETREAT CENTER

Achieve a deeper sense of well-being. Joshua Tree Retreat Center offers the community many wellness classes designed to accommodate all levels of experience. Most classes are by donation, usually $5 to $20, and reservations are not required. Wear comfortable clothing, bring your water bottle, and join in for a welcome respite from the hectic day-to-day.

YOGALATES WITH LAURA
Fridays, 11am-12:15pm. Yogalates is a full body workout class suitable for students of all levels. Build core strength through Pilates mat work and yoga combined. Please bring a yoga mat, yoga blanket, or large towel and 2 or 3 pound weights. Classes are $15. Outdoors at the Yoga Pad. No reservation required.

PLANT MEDICINE MORNINGS
Apri 2 & 9, 9am in Harmony Hall. $15 per class (no reservation required). Revered for its heart opening abilities Cacao gives us insight into the Self, therefore deepening our meditative practice. Please BRING A MUG, enjoy a warm cup of cacao and a heart expanding flow. All levels welcome. Flow in Harmony Hall next to the pool.

FIRE FLOW
Saturdays, 10:15am in Harmony Hall. $15 per class (no reservation required). Fire Flow is a challenging class for the intermediate to advanced yogi. Using breath to propel your body through this thoughtful practice you will gain strength, flexibility, balance and endurance. Please meet at Joshua Tree Yoga Studio, located at Harmony Hall, next to the pool.

SUNDAY SLOW FLOW
Sundays, 9am in Harmony Hall. $15 per class (no reservation required). Slow, deep, and mindful movement. Meditative sequences of poses linked with breath to increase strength, flexibility, and a steady mind. All levels.

SOULFUL SUNDAY HEALING CIRCLE w/ GITTE
1st Sunday of the month, 10am-11am, FREE event, open to all. Experience a safe space to share healing energy, wholeness, and optimism. It meets at the Tai Chi Circle, outside of Noble Hall and across from the Café.

HATHA
Mondays, 9am in Harmony Hall. $15 per class (no reservation required). A classical yoga style that combines pranayama (breathwork), asana (poses), and relaxation. Class helps support building strength, gaining flexibility and promoting relaxation.

MENTALPHYSICS 8 KEY BREATHWORK w/ HANNA
Tuesdays, 10am-11am. Breathe your way to health by learning and practicing the 8 Key Breaths of The Science of Mentalphysics. Join in at the outdoor Tai Chi Circle. The suggested donation is $8.

Wednesdays, 5pm-6pm. Ignite your inner light, clear and open your chakras, and deeply connect to your deepest self. Suggested donation is $5-$15. Classes meet inside Noble Hall, with masks and social distancing.

KAVA KAVA FIRESIDE FLOW
Thursdays, 5pm in Harmony Hall. $15 per class (no reservation required). Kava Kava is a relaxing social and grounding root when ingested. Join Chakra for a root chakra opening slow flow, after enjoying a warm cup of kava kava next to a warm crackling fire. Class is located indoors. Please bring a mug.

COMMUNITY SOUND BATH WITH PETRA
2nd Thursday of the month, 6pm-7:30pm. A deeply meditative experience. Bring a mat, small pillow or blanket. Opens at 5:30pm. Reservations are appreciated. RSVP by emailing booking@thesoundmindgarden.com. Suggested donation is $10-$30. At Noble Hall, with masks and social distancing.

MANTRA AND THE YOGA OF SOUND

LEAP! VIDEO INSTALLATION
April 9, 6pm. Join Susan Kleinberg for an artist reception in honor of her video installation LEAP! on April 9th, 6pm to 8pm, outside Food for Thought Cafe, located on the Joshua Tree Retreat Center campus.

HIGH DESERT DEATH CAFÉ
April 10 at 1pm (2nd Sunday each month) Tai Chi Circle (outdoors) directly across from the cafe on the Joshua Tree Retreat Center campus. Death Cafe is a gathering of people interested in creating community and discussing Death in a ‘Cafe’ setting. Not group or grief therapy but intended to be a sharing of experiences, asking questions and helping to inform and educate about mortality.
