King Madres Make Their Pappy + Harriet’s Debut

This Friday, December 6, King Madres and Mikey Reyes will take the stage at the iconic Pappy + Harriet’s for an indoor show that promises to pack the house. Doors open at 8 p.m., and with buzz spreading quickly among the Joshua Tree locals, tickets are expected to sell out—don’t wait to snag yours!
Who Are King Madres?
While King Madres may sound like a new name, the band is anything but green. This collective is made up of some of Joshua Tree’s most talented and seasoned artists, who have already wowed audiences at the Joshua Tree Music Festival and the Joshuas Honors Gala. Under their new banner, the group blends genres and creative energies into a musical experience that’s equal parts collaborative and captivating.
As a lead vocalist and guitarist Nigel Roman explains, “King Madres was born from a desire to create music beyond the twice-yearly Joshua Tree Music Festival performances. This collective isn’t about any one person or genre—it’s about creativity and collaboration. If it sounds good to us, we do it.”
