Hanna Haas is a singer-songwriter drawn to the dance between the light and dark. Though currently based in Portland, Oregon she has come to call the entire West Coast her home. Hanna’s music could be described as contemplative folk, identifying with artists Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell, and Feist for their alternate tunings and reposeful, haunting melodies. Hanna sings of the mysteries of life and death and the simple beauties of this ephemeral mortal experience, drawing inspiration from the numerous west coast landscapes she has inhabited.
