Love in the Desert

The Station
Joshua Tree

“When we planned our wedding in April, we knew we had to do it in a way that was uniquely Joshua Tree and felt like “us”. A little bit desert, vintage, and kitsch, The Station was the perfect venue. Owners Steve and Glen converted a 1940s service station into this funky, fun gift shop. The eclectic decor and patio atmosphere were the perfect setting for our wedding and reception.”

Glennie and Sean Horton used local vendors and music makers: Jed Justin (aka radioJED), DJs us!, food by Yucca Kabob, dessert from Cowboy Churro, and craft cocktails from our favorite local bartender, Kate Everard from The Tiny Pony. Stephen LaMarche (aka Nomad Photo) crafted a custom oversized bouquet of sunflowers for the giant cowboy statue, Big Josh,to hold. It was truly a magical and fun night, and we couldn’t have asked for a more special way to celebrate our love for each other and Joshua Tree.
