Pride 29: A Weekend of Love and Inclusivity

Twentynine Palms, CA – Rediscover 29, with sponsorship from Visit 29 Palms and in cooperation with the City of Twentynine Palms, will be hosting the city’s first-ever Pride event, taking place April 6-8. This three-day event, focused on love and inclusion, includes multiple events staged across the city, hosted by local 29 Palms businesses. The lineup of events include drag bingo, Family Feud, Queer Past Lear comedy night, and Pride mini golf tournament, all leading up to the main Pride 29 event taking place on Saturday, April 8 in downtown 29 Palms, at the newly completed Freedom Plaza space. THURSDAY, APRIL 6

Pride festivities officially kick off at Out There Bar, with Drag Bingo hosted by Lady Chilane of 29. This is a free event open to everyone ages 21+, with pizza available for purchase courtesy of I Fall to Pizzas.

FRIDAY, APRIL 7

Queer Past Lear Comedy Night | 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. 18+
White Label Vinyl/Hi-Desert Daydream Outdoor Patio | 73515 Twentynine Palms Hwy Enjoy a night of love and laughs under the stars at the Queer Past Lear comedy night, featuring Ever Mainard, Brian Bahe, Dylan Adler, and Jared Goldstein. This is a 18+ ticketed event with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. with live DJ spinning, I Fall To Pizzas on-site slingin’ dough, a beer & wine cash bar hosted by GRND SQRL. Comedy show starts at 8:00 p.m., this is an 18+ event. Hosted by White Label Vinyl, Hi-Desert Daydream, and GRND SQRL.

SATURDAY, APRIL 8
29 Palms Pride Mini Golf Tournament | 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Mojaveland | 5157 Adobe Road, Twentynine Palms, CA 92277
Mojaveland will be hosting a fun, family-friendly 29 Palms Pride mini golf tournament, offering teams of 2-4 people the chance to play the 13-hole, artist-designed course, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Registration is required, and the cost is $5 per player.

Pride 29 kicks off at 4:00 p.m. with live music by The Wonder People, followed by a drag show with LA based Landon Cider and friends, including Las Vegas based Prada Roche, hosted by MC Patrick “Pattycakes” Pierre. DJ Kate McCabe will close out the evening with a silent disco from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This event, held at Freedom Plaza, is free and open to the public, and sponsored by Visit 29 Palms.
